// GETTING YOUR INSTALLER

Pro subscribers receive installer links by email. After signing up at signup.duckdatamaster.guru, email support@duckdatamaster.guru from your account address and specify your platform (Windows, macOS, or Linux distro). You'll receive a download link within one business day.

The installer is tied to your Pro subscription. You can install on multiple machines — use the same account to sign in on each.

// FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why does Windows/macOS warn me about an unrecognized publisher?
The installer is currently unsigned — code signing certificates are expensive and in progress for public release. During early access, you'll see a SmartScreen (Windows) or Gatekeeper (macOS) warning. Both can be bypassed safely: Windows → "More info → Run anyway"; macOS → right-click the app → Open.
Does the app store my data anywhere?
No. Files you load are held in memory only for that session. When you close the app, all data is gone. Nothing is written to disk and nothing is transmitted to any server. The only external call is your plain-English question to the AI backend — your actual data rows never leave your machine.
Can I use the browser version and the desktop app on the same account?
Yes. Pro includes both. Sign in at signup.duckdatamaster.guru in any browser, or launch the desktop app — same account works on both.
What's the difference between the desktop app and the browser version?
The desktop app runs the analytics engine natively with full system RAM — up to 51GB by default. The browser version is capped at ~4GB by the browser's memory model. For large Parquet files, multi-file joins, or year-over-year datasets, the desktop app handles what the browser cannot. Both use the same AI assistant and produce identical results.
My Linux package manager can't find the app — what do I do?
Install via the direct installer (.deb, .rpm, or AppImage) rather than a package manager. The app is not yet in any Linux package repository. The AppImage works on any distro with no installation — just mark it executable and run it.
I'm on Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3). Does it work?
Yes, via Rosetta 2 — macOS translates the x64 binary automatically. A native ARM build is planned. Performance is excellent even under Rosetta.
I don't have a Pro subscription yet. How do I get one?
Sign up at signup.duckdatamaster.guru. The 7-day free trial gives you full access. After the trial, choose the Pro plan ($49.99/mo) to keep the desktop app and all Pro features — or stay on Lite ($19.99/mo) for browser-only access.
